Question by andwiththerighteyes: Unusual Medieval Weapon inspiration?
I am making an attempt to find some inspiration for gear in a fictional setting I’m creating about.

When i say uncommon, I will not mean like nunchaku or halberds (I.e points I have probably heard of) I mean significantly unusual items like gun-shields and individuals wiggly zweihanders.

I adore points that are aesthetically weird but even far better if they have odd utilizes or capabilities (like the gun shield)

I also would not head men and women giving very good original concepts of made up weapons simply because I could do with some futuristic projectile form weapons too (but nothing at all current day or WWI/WWII please) as I am really just hunting for standard inspiration.

While I am here, I am also seeking for somebody to draw a big listing of products for me if which is achievable.

The Billhook is an exciting weapon. It was a pole arm utilised by infantry.
The Godentag is an wonderful two handed wood club with metal spikes. Also hilariously named (Godentag means ‘Good day’). Formulated in Flanders.
The Crow’s Beak is a warhammer with a tiny hammer head with a spike on the other aspect.
The Falchion is the mixture of the flexibility of a sword with the bodyweight of an axe.
The Ahlspiess is a spear with a metal top 50 percent and guard.

Gunswords, gunaxes, and other ‘gun’ weapons have been built, but they were not very successful.
