This would fit a young teen/tween, but only size 14 or smaller adults. I really like this dress, but it’s too small in the shoulder/bust area. My 16 year old (size 14-16 size) daughter is the model in the pictures of the XL costume. It fits in the waist and length (she’s around 5’4″), but the sleeves are skin tight, and the shoulder torso area is massively tight and doesn’t cover the shoulders. If you look at the pic, she’s wearing a black sports bra which is visible because the shoulders are too tight. I’m going to keep the dress and let my 14 yr old wear it to the renaissance festival. I just wish they would make costumes for (plump) (ok fat) non-skinny people.

Beautiful and seems to be well made. Fit relatively well on my wife. The only problem we had were the upper sleeves were way to tight, and had to be adjusted to allow circulation.

I purchased a green and gold dress for myself for A Renaissance theme party. The dress fit beautifully just like a glove! I received so many compliments on my dress!! I was so afraid when I purchased the dress it was going to be just like every other Halloween costume you find they alway look cheap and trashy! This dress was amazing! The fabric it is made with is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination! I loved it so much that I decided to order the beige dress as well! My oldest daughter wants to be little red riding hood for Halloween so we will be ordering the red dress closer to October! The only flaw with ordering overseas is that delivery time does take a little longer! Plan ahead if you want the at a certain time because it takes like 2 1/2 to 3 weeks to receive but it’s totally worth the wait!
