The scythe comes in three pieces. It’s taller than me and I’m 5’6. I got it for my 10-year old’s Halloween costume and he loves it. He did accidentally stab my daughter in the finger and it cut her a little, so be careful with it.

This scythe is one of the few I was able to find that was actually long enough to be useful as a prop for an adult costume. I liked it well enough as it looks good and was light enough to carry around for an extended period. I was using it as a prop for a Grim Reaper costume for a series of tours I had to give at work for several nights in a row. The only real problem I had was that the two-part staff is pretty weak were it joins in the middle. I had to use clear packing tape to reinforce it before the second night started. This will work really well for one, maybe two, long costume parties, but I dont’ know if you should expect it to last long enough to be useful next year.

The price was good, though, and the company shipped it quickly. I received it much faster than I expected. I would definitely buy from the company again.

While this product arrived promptly, it is poorly made. I had to duck tape the “scythe” to the pole to prevent it from falling off.
