I absolutely love this costume! It was much cheaper than renting a costume from my local costume shop. It’s very pretty and fits well. I was worried if it would fit or not, but it is truly a plus size costume. I’m a size 18, and it’s actually a little too big for me. The quality of the materials used are great as well. I’m looking forward to wearing it to medieval faire.

I am an average size 18, and 5’7″ height – and as with any online “plus size” item I worry about fit. No worries with this dress! After receiving it I can now see why it’s advertised as fitting 16-24 sizes. (Although I’m not sure if it would really go up to a true 24). The corset piece in front really allows for lots of extra room – whether you’re big in the chest or in the tummy. The corset strings are fully adjustable.

Yes the material is cheapy, but hangs well and looks great! No loose fuzz. The thick ribbon border is more of a greenish color in person and the dress overall would look great with greenish accessories (i.e.: hat/donut).

I’ll be wearing this for Halloween and I’ll be wearing a layer of thermals underneath for extra warmth, and there’s plenty of room for thermals without losing too much of the shape the dress provides. Overall this is a costume I’ll keep to use throughout the years.

Cons:
– It’s long. Choose another dress if you’re short.
– Ribbon on corset is very thin, like a thin shoestring.

I am a size 24 and was nervous about buying a plus sized costume for Halloween this year, but I had to have one. This costume not only fits well, I would say I still have extra room in it! It is perfect for the larger plus sized ladies out there, or men if you so choose to wear the costume! The material is a great stretchy rich purple velvet and the decor on the gown is absolutely beautiful!
