The Middle ages are the play between Antiquity, which ends with the fall of Rome in 476, and modern history, which begins about 1500.The Medieval play is essentially another way of expression the Middle Ages. The Dark Ages are the earliest portion of the Middle Ages. Petrarch was the former to use this characterization, because as opposed to the brilliance of the Roman Empire, and the metempsychosis of learning and architecture in the High Middle Ages, the intervening play seems so Dark. It’s characterized by the dislocation of the Imperial structure and the emergence of smaller principalities. Use Britain as an example, the Romans had some control over the area between the Channel and the Wall in the north, as long as the Legions were there, but after they leaving, the regions began developing on their own. By the end of the “Dark Ages” Alfred found himself reconciling many different Anglo-Saxon Law codification into something standardized. The Dark Ages is a term which is falling putout of favor with historians in Recent twelvemonth.
