School, teen clash over Medieval photo Minstrels of Birnam Wood present choral concert ? 3 p.m. Sunday, First Congregational United Church of Christ, 2201 Woodlawn Ave. Concert, performed by a Renaissance ensemble of 11 voices, features music from the Medieval period to sacred music of today. Admission is free, an offering will be taken. Researchers land a grant of almost £900,000 to shine new light on a 500-year-old "giant" of Welsh poetry. Seventeen-year-old Patrick Agin often spends a week whittling a single arrow, and he's learning to make chain mail armor by hand. So when it came time to submit a senior yearbook photo, he selected a snapshot of himself wearing chain mail and slinging a prop sword over his shoulder. Corbin More, 12, takes a short break from his duty as a greeter at Hill Elementary School's annual Medieval market Friday in Arlington.
